The Turn: The Suffering Messiah

At the turning point of Mark's gospel, Jesus finally asks the disciples the most important question one can ask--who is this Jesus? Their conversation reveals that he is the Messiah, but not the kind they were expecting. It raises the question for us: will we let Jesus be who he is or will we demand that he conform to our expectations?
