The Messiah, the Law and the Prophets
Jesus transitions into the main body of His Contrary to the thinking of many who want to simply pit Jesus against Israel's Scriptures, Jesus emphatically announces that HE has come not to abolish them, but to fulfill them--to bring them to their completion. In doing so He hints at the fact He is the one bringing about God's New Covenant, where the law will be written on the new heart and lived from the inside out with a new righteousness.
