The King and His Curses

We resume our study of the Gospel According to Mark with the book's second major turning point: the "triumphal entry" of Jesus as the rightful King of Israel on Palm Sunday. For his first order of business, the King does some confusing things that all reinforce a central theme: appearances can be deceiving and a poor substitute for genuine, prayerful faith.
