One King and One Kingdom

The Kingdom of God is a central theme across the biblical story and in the ministry of Jesus Himself. The gospel writers declare that Jesus's teaching and actions centered on "the gospel of the Kingdom of God." Far from a curiosity or a minor point of theology, our understanding of the God's Kingdom and Jesus's reign over it is meant to shape everything about us. It is good news for sinners in need of forgiveness, for the hurting in need of healing, and for exiles in need of hope. Over 12 weeks we will consider what it means to believe this good news, to bend the knee to King Jesus, and to begin to understands ourselves primarily as citizens of His Kingdom.
