Imagining the Kingdom

Jesus was a deeply creative teacher and a cornerstone of his teaching ministry was imaginative stories He authored called parables. His parables were both short and complex, invitational and alienating. In them, Jesus announced the Kingdom He was bringing and sought to paint a picture of and develop an appetite for it. In this 7-week series we will consider a representative cross-section of Jesus's 40 parables, letting them stir up our imaginations and form us into those with the ears to hear.
